Nov. 3rd, 2005 08:59 pmThis is from an old "Toshiba Theater" live-action Japanese drama I saw over 10-15 years ago:
Scene: A 10-year-old boy has seen his 12-year-old sister have her very first period in the middle of a tennis match (the match happens offstage) and is relating the story to his dad.
Boy: Dad, something strange happened on the [tennis] court today. Sis was playing and then she suddenly stopped and squatted in the middle of the court. Blood came out from her bottom!
Dad: That's because she's becoming a woman.
Boy: So if I bleed from the bottom, will I become a man too?
Dad: No. That's hemorrhoids.
The dialogue is paraphrased but I think you get the idea. :)
