Last entry before FC
Jan. 11th, 2005 03:11 pmPacking for FC is about 90% done. What's left is on my bed at the moment, plus my toiletries... which I plan to pack as soon as I get done with this entry.
Also decided to pick up a pair of noise-cancelling headphones, which will hopefully allow me to get some sleep on the flight. I'll need at least an hour or two because the flight is a red-eye and I have to catch a connecting flight in L.A.
Weather's gorgeous out here now... mostly sunny but winds coming from an odd direction... calm to northwesterly (usually winds here blow from the northeast). Nice and warm though... latest airport observation is showing the temperature at 26C/79F.
I think I'll probably be one of the only ones I know... or THE only one I know... who'll actually be COLD at FC!
Okay, enough relaxing for now. Time to jump in the shower, finish packing then head over to run a couple of last-minute errands and get to the airport in time for my flight later tonight.
