MLP: Equestria Girls.... The Aftermath
Jun. 30th, 2013 10:54 pmWent to see the MLP movie "Equestria Girls" at Ward Theater yesterday (Saturday) and came back to find this scrawled on the driver's side window:

technocollie, who is legitimately handicapped (he has a placard), which is why we took the handicapped stall in the first place. (I play by the rules... I won't take a handicapped stall unless I have a handicapped passenger.) Second, because technocollie is handicapped, we always use the elevator, never the stairs.
Needless to say, I was pissed, but instead of just getting mad, I took action. I contacted mall security as well as the valets (the second floor parking of Ward Theaters is valet) and filed a police report. As of this post, I fully intend to press charges against the perpetrator (who security was able to positively identify from the surveillance cameras in the parking lot).
I don't care how pissed you are, or whether or not you have a legitimate reason (in this case, the guy that did it didn't). You never, EVER vandalize anyone else's personal property. Period. Not only can you get prosecuted for it, you've just demonstrated that you just stooped to a lower level than whoever you were pissed at.
If all the guy had done was leave a note under the windshield wiper, it wouldn't have been as big of a deal. But writing a note directly on a window -- with what appears to be a Sharpie -- is uncool at best, and committing a crime at worst.
Window cleaner removed most of the ink, but I'll probably need to get the rest removed at a detail shop. Don't know when I can get it done, although right now I think it won't be until the second week of July at the earliest. And if the cost is big enough, I may consider a civil lawsuit against the guy (though right now I don't expect it to go that far).
