Animal therapy
Jul. 10th, 2011 06:41 pmSometimes it's amazing just how therapeutic having a companion animal (aka "pet") can be.
Regardless of the kind of day that I've had, I always look forward to coming home and being greeted by a mewling, purring feline friend who will ask for attention and show her appreciation by purring away.
Purring is, of course, therapeutic in and of itself.
Sometimes Lani will curl up on the bed at my feet, or sometimes in front of the computer (!)... as I'm trying to use it, of course. Though a couple of times she's either tried to groom me or nip at me when I'm trying to sleep. But I wouldn't trade having a furry feline friend for anything.
