While AC is going on...
Jun. 26th, 2010 09:23 am... I've pretty much solidified plans for FC.
I'll be there from January 12-19 and staying at the hotel.
In other news... my work schedule has been altered slightly starting next month. When I first started working at my current job, I was working seven 12-hour shifts every two weeks. If you do the math, that comes to 84 hours every two weeks, or four hours of overtime each pay period. Beginning in July, that's been altered since we're no longer authorized to go over 80 hours on a regular basis (meetings and other events are fine, but regular overtime is no longer permitted). It's a fairly decent chunk of change, but I'm more concerned that down the line my schedule will shift to a Monday through Saturday daytime shift only (between 6am to 6pm). This eliminates any night and Sunday differential pay that I would otherwise get (night differential is 10% extra and Sunday pay is something like 15%).
The other day I got up from a nap in between shifts to discover that someone had hacked into my gmail email through the web and attempted to spam everyone in my address book. Gmail caught it and had me change my password, which I immediately did (and changed passwords on several other sites as a precaution). It looks like the only damage done was trying to spam everyone but I'm going to keep a close eye on whatever accounts I have for any suspicious activity.
So needless to say, I'm not a particularly happy camper right now.
