Will the real Rory please stand up?

Today I got an email that looks suspiciously like a scam email that was probably sent from another fur whose account was hijacked or infected with a virus. The fur in question is Rory@FurryMUCK/FurToonia. (This is also the same Rory who has DJ'd several of the dances at Anthrocon.)

I only have one question for those who know Rory: the email claims that he is stranded in the UK. Is this true? If not, then I'm writing the email off as a scam.

FWIW, I have not and do not intend to take any further action on the email (not wiring any $$$, etc.).
