After working a 12-hour shift you'd think I'd be able to come home and just go to sleep.
Not even close.
Though tired, I'm wide awake at the moment (though probably running solely on adrenalin... I got home around 10:30pm last night). I've read the postings on Furp (
evil_dwagon) and corresponded with several people on Adium (the mac version of Trillian, more or less).
I don't know what's harder for me to realize... that he's gone, or the number of lives he touched.

FC'ers: Check your credit card bill
Feb. 20th, 2009 11:59 amI'm reading through my friends' blogs and see a pawful of posts saying to check your credit card bill if you stayed at the Doubletree for FC09. I go to do that on two different cards (I used one to pay for the room and another once at Sprigs Coffee Shop).
The good news: I don't notice any unusual activity on either card.
The bad news: I had racked up a $2k bill on my AmEx card in January. No prob, I scheduled an autopayment. Unfortunately, I hadn't checked carefully enough; the bank account I used to pay the AmEx bill was one I had closed and transferred all the funds to another account. So naturally the payment was declined. And on top of that I get hit with a $38 returned check surcharge.
Crud.
Oh well, lesson learned. I reset the account to the correct one and resubmitted the payment. This one had better go through, or I'll not be a happy kitty. :p
