The Day After...
Apr. 16th, 2008 07:01 amIt's April 16, but this year I actually got my taxes done and submitted on time (actually got 'em in over the weekend).
Just like last year, I owe quite a bit -- roughly $3k to the feds and $5k to the state, though last year it was higher. But that's also because I got a fairly decent windfall in voluntary separation pay when I left active duty last year.
As far as next year goes... given that I've decided to take zero exemptions on my W-4 and am cashing out a CD next month, hopefully I won't be owing as much. We'll see how it goes.
Switching gears... can't wait for this movie (opens Friday):
