Apr. 11th, 2008 06:31 pmTime for a brief post before going out to scrounge for food, then (hopefully) getting a nap before I go in to work tonight.
Saw the Superhero movie the other night. It's a parody of Spider-Man, Batman and X-Men, to say the least... and it was (I thought) better than Meet the Spartans, which in retrospect sucked (so don't expect me to be buying that on video anytime soon).
Looking forward to The Forbidden Kingdom coming out next weekend. I should have Friday, Saturday and Sunday off that weekend so am hoping to catch it on one of those days.
In other news, I'm now looking at getting a Chevrolet Tahoe Hybrid instead of the MB GL320. It's about $25-$30k less than what I would have paid for the GL, though it has less features. But it's got plenty of room for 8, and lots of leg room in the second row. And the big plus is that its gas mileage is about the same as the Toyota Camry that I got 10 years ago. The big question mark is the price. If the dealer can give me a good price (considering I'm willing to pay cash up front), I may go for it. Watch this space for updates.
And finally, on a side note, I've noticed that Lani's fur looks a bit different in sunlight. If the sun hits her fur at an angle, I can actually see orange fur below the black fur, so I suspect that she could have ended up looking like Tiger had if she hadn't had the gene for black fur. But that's just my guess.
