technocollie and a couple other friends for food followed by a movie.
We ended up seeing Run, Fatboy, Run, which was rather amusing. It's done by the same folks who did Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz, with the main character in fact being one of the main characters from Hot Fuzz. If you like (mostly) British comedy, you'll probably like this one.
BTW, for those going to FC09, hope you got your room reservations because the Doubletree is now completely sold out of rooms. The con staff are working to get an overflow hotel set up, but I expect those rooms to be gone within a week (or less).
