Feb. 7th, 2006 10:42 pmAfter a couple of rather stressful friends-only posts, I'm posting something that's hopefully a bit more positive.
Today I bought a laser pointer (at![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
makovette's suggestion) for my kitty (Lani). She of course loves it since she's a rather playful sort. It's nice for me because it means I can keep Lani entertained and active without having to get up out of bed. :) Only thing is, it does force me to type one-handed, or pause in my typing, since I need one hand to work the pointer. Of course, standard safety guidance also applies (don't shine the laser into anyone's eyes, don't look directly into the laser, etc). But I'm hoping the laser at least will distract kitty enough to keep her from either walking on the keyboard or pouncing or pawing at me.
In other news, not much else to report. My ankle still hurts a little, so I'll probably use the ankle brace (for safety) for tomorrow morning's PT. But I plan to be up early since I have several things I need to do before I head over to PT... which means I'm gonna sign off this entry for now. :)
