I guess the question is... have I officially hit my mid-life crisis now?

Finally saw it today (seems as though everyone else saw it midnight Friday)... no spoilers.

I'd been hearing that this movie was perhaps the best one of the Harry Potter movies so far, and I agree that it was pretty good.  It's also very LONG... over 2 hours, something like 2.5 hours... so it's a definite bladder buster.  It also seems like this one, moreso than any other HP movie, references the previous movies... though I never saw the first one (the only one of the HP movies I haven't seen)... so you should see at least the second and third movies before you see this one.

I've also been hearing rumors that the kids may need to be re-cast since they're growing up faster than they are in the books.  But I've also been hearing that the sixth book (2 books after the current movie) already has them as young adults.  And according to the Internet Movie Database, Daniel Radcliffe (Harry) is supposed to be in 2007's Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.  Though... it looks like Harry is starting to show his age, mostly in the form of body hair.  ;)

I have to give J.K. Rowling quite a bit of credit for this story.  I sometimes wish I had just as good an imagination as to be able to wrestle words from silence...

This week is shaping up to be pretty busy, with a squadron party on Wednesday and Thanksgiving just around the corner on Thursday...
