Traded "Razor" in for a new, improved version:

Actually, the trade won't happen until tomorrow since I also work tomorrow, and the car I wanted won't be ready then... but let's just say the Nissan Fuga (aka the Infiniti M45) is a very nice touring car that pampers you quite nicely.
And yes, the million-dollar question is the price. I've actually decided to lease the car since I'm not sure if I'm going to keep it at the end of the lease period or consider getting a hybrid version, if one comes out during that time.
The lucrative deal, or what pretty much got me to bite, was that the dealer was willing to take "Razor" for $30K, or roughly $10K less than my purchase price of the car. And for $10K on my part, I got cleared from financing "Razor" (aka Infiniti G35) to putting down a lease payment on "Razor II" (the M45) as well as the first month's payment. Overall, it looked good enough that I decided to go for it.
This was also not a decision I took lightly... I wanted a good passenger car, and especially a good touring car. The nice thing about the lease term is that it's for the car's warranty, so if anything goes wrong (other than periodic maintenance) it'll likely be repaired under warranty. The only other things I may add are road hazard protection because the rims are something like $1100 each.
And admittedly the dealer was right... from my previous Camry, going up to "Razor" was a pretty big step for me... and now, going from "Razor" to "Razor II" will be just as big a step, if not bigger.
But hey, you only live once, right? :)
The important thing now, though, is for me to make sure that I steward this car well....
