Jun. 14th, 2005 08:40 pmOkay, I am now officially torked at Sony. :P
While I enjoy my Vaio laptop because it's light and is way better than the laptops I had before, the biggest issue I have with that computer is its battery. When you're on battery power it's way too easy to dislodge the battery when you move the computer, especially if you have it sitting on a cooling pad. That means that if you're working on anything, you're SOL if you didn't have the opportunity or foresight to have saved your work.
In other news, I don't seem to be making much progress on my physical fitness regimen. Because my score on the last PT test was marginal, I upped my workouts to 4 times a week whenever possible. (Sometimes I can only do 3 times a week, but 4 is what I think I need). Sometimes I'll mix the workouts... run/jog one day, treadmill another, elliptical trainer a third. I'll even do spinning but generally prefer to focus on the "harder" workouts like running. I once got my 1.5-mile run time down to 12:30 but only after I paced myself and pushed myself hard near the end.
Next Tuesday I test... and I'm not sure how I'll do. In practice I've been doing the 1.5-mile run in 14 to 15 minutes, WAY slower than I need to do to pass. I think it'll take someone pacing me to really get me to become physically fit.
