FC 2005 so far
Jan. 15th, 2005 10:43 pmAfter having been down for the better part of FC, it looks like LJ is finally up to allow me to post.
First things first though: if I talked to you at FC and told you who I am, and you added me to your friends list... please let me know so I know to add you to mine!
Second, I've had a lot of fun at the con... even got a chance to be part of staff... to where I'm partly on staff and partly not on staff. Officially (i.e., for the record) I'm not on staff, nor am I a go-fur, but I'm unofficially helping out with tech stuff, mostly sound-related stuff, since I help out on the sound team at church.
With 1.5 more days to go before the con officially ends, I actually don't want to see it end. I'm not looking forward to going back home and dealing with the stress that RL has to offer after having escaped it for almost a week. In fact, last night I dreamt -- twice -- that the con was over and I was back home. It really wasn't what I wanted to dream about either, not before the con actually finishes.
Tomorrow I think some furs that I wanted to meet, but didn't know they were at FC, will be leaving... though I'm around until Tuesday evening myself. More will be booking on Monday, though I think the vast majority will leave on Tuesday. And that will probably be one of the hardest things for me to do.
Still, it's been great, and I've already invited a couple of furs to come over for a visit. Admittedly it'll be pricey, but I hope some can at least afford a visit. I really don't know when I'll be able to do another Mainland trip myself... may not be until next January, to be honest.
