As if THIS were any surprise... >:)

I am Razor/Jake Clawson. Perhaps not as self-confident as I could be, I still have a lot of good qualities: I'm hella smart, helpful, witty, easygoing, and fun. Also saw "The Sum Of All Fears" today (technically, it was yesterday since it's after midnight, but who's counting?). Based on the few movies I've seen so far, this one would be my pick for next year's Academy Awards Best Picture. Unfortunately, it comes too soon after September 11 that it may be underrated by the Academy. Then again, "A Beautiful Mind" won Best Picture this year despite some controversy over its subject matter.

I suspect it'll snow in Hades first before we EVER see a sci-fi/fantasy movie get nominated for, and WIN, Best Picture. Since '91 the Academy has had at least two such movies nominated -- Beauty & The Beast and Lord of the Rings... and both movies got snubbed in the Best Picture department. (Yes, they won Oscars elsewhere, but not for Best Picture.)

BTW: I'm in a better mood than I was in earlier this week....
