I don't know how quickly this is spreading around, but...

hakeber is getting a divorce.

And even though I don't know her that well I'm already siding with her...mainly because I know her soon-to-be ex, and I actually have to give her credit for putting up with him as long as she has.

Ever since I hosted him several years ago I felt like he took my hospitality for granted and ended up complaining about stuff he should have been thankful for. I will admit that it's partly why I've been dragging my feet to get him a travel bag (with extremely gawdy, touristy Hawaiian floral print). Now that this is happening I'm going to put this whole thing on hold indefinitely since I doubt he would ever be able to pay me for it.

He has my phone number but I'm not planning to answer if he calls. Best I stay out of this as much as possible, not to mention he would not like what I would have to say.
