(no subject)

Second time in less than a month that technocollie is in hospital, though this time it appeared to be a snafu with his blood pressure medications. He started a new prescription last night and was never given any guidance as to whether or not to continue the other medication so there was some kind of allergic reaction that landed him in hospital this weekend.

Visited him earlier tonight and he didn't seem all that great when I first got there but by the time I left he seemed better, just tired and needed to take a nap. From what I can tell it looks like the doctors are going to keep him overnight for observation, and barring any major problems, he'll probably be discharged tomorrow, or if not, Monday at the latest.

The puppy has been many times over a source of gray fur for this kat this year alone.

I have a bachelor's degree in meteorology and a master's in atmospheric sciences, and work full-time as a satellite analyst at the Joint Typhoon Warning Center. So yeah, I've pretty much used my degrees.
