The latest posting from Bos'n on FC 2012 is that once the hotel room block opens, each room will require a nonrefundable deposit of one night's stay when the reservation is made.
This does put somewhat of a damper on things but I am kicking around the idea of purchasing trip cancellation insurance, which (if used) would cover this very expense.
I'm still shuffling finances around trying to see if I can get FC 2012 to work, but I don't know if I'll get a room as soon as the room block opens, as I've done in years past. I could be making a decision this month on whether or not to attend based on projected finances.
Right now, things aren't dire, but they aren't great either. I'm able to get by but I have very little to no extra cash to go out so I've been spending most of my free time at home.
FC is still iffy, but I think as of right now I'm leaning toward not going. I should hopefully know more for sure by the end of this month or next month.
