I was almost tempted not to do so this year given how much political mudslinging has happened in the past week. But I've heard that it's MUCH worse on the mainland than here.
With just about every other radio commercial being a political ad, I can't wait until November 3.
So yes, I mailed my absentee ballot yesterday. And FWIW, I will say that I voted for both Republicans and Democrats this time. I normally vote Democratic, though this time I was tempted to vote nearly all Republican... but I wanted to make decisions that I felt I could live with, and also wanted to support those people I thought my late parents would have supported (though I probably didn't support everyone they would have). And I'll also say that I didn't make my decisions lightly.
However, I will say this much: if you are eligible to vote (are of legal age and registered), go out and vote! If you choose not to vote, then as far as I'm concerned, you have no right to bitch.
