Lani Moo theft, Hot Tub Time Machine (round 2)

Went out with a couple of friends to celebrate carson10us's last night on-island before he moves and to go see "Hot Tub Time Machine" (second time for me and carson10us, first time for technocollie and another friend who doesn't have an LJ account).

We ate around the time of the local news, and one of the stories that came up was that the Meadow Gold mascot suit (Lani Moo) was stolen Wednesday out of one of the company's trucks. I glanced over at carson10us and started thinking hmm... but he said he was at work all day, though he is leaving the island tomorrow. Could it be... nah...

It generally depends on what's more readily available. Usually I'll go check the 'net if I have ready access. If not, then I go to radio or TV. During the tsunami warning we had near the end of February, I was actually checking both the net and radio for updates. The tsunami warning came out first on the net, but additional information, such as when Civil Defense sirens would first sound, was mentioned on the radio first.
