Gonna keep this one short since I gotta be up in a few hours for work. Oh, joy. :p

Took Lani to the vet for her annual checkup yesterday and noticed that she was actually panting during the ride, even though I had the temperature set to something like 68 F. As the vet pointed out to me, cats often pant when they are stressed. Seeing cats pant isn't unusual for me since I'd seen a documentary several years ago on the desert cat, which looked like a scraggly, large version of your typical house cat, and it was panting. I wonder if that's why Lani would cry so much when I put her in the carrier and first loaded her in the car, but once we were on our way, she'd stop until we got to our destination.

Saw "Madagascar 2" and "Role Models" Monday and Tuesday. Both were decent movies, and nice diversions. I don't remember much about the first Madagascar other than the penguins, but perhaps the second one was a bit funnier. It's also one of Bernie Mac's last roles before he passed away. I'm not sure if he got to see the near-final print.
