technocollie's birthday -- but there wasn't a whole lot to say about it. It was somewhat decent action, but I heard it wasn't as good as the first two (which I didn't see, so I had no basis for comparison myself).
Also joined Netflix, mainly because the only reason I get DVDs nowadays is to watch at work. We generally can watch TV between 5pm and 5am on weekdays, so if there's not much going on we typically pop in a movie for at least part of the shift. First up in the queue that I rented were "Deja Vu", "Stranger Than Fiction" and "Mystery Men". Next up are "Supercop", "Disturbia" and "Mr. and Mrs. Smith".
I'll admit that I wasn't a really big fan of using Netflix because I didn't know if it would be worth the cost unless I watched x-amount of movies a month. But the big advantage that it offers is that it gives me the chance to preview a movie that's out before I get it so I don't waste my money on a DVD that I wasn't sure about in the first place.
Planning a trip to Maui in a couple weeks or so via the Superferry, so will post details on that when/after it happens. Projected dates are the 22nd through 24th, though tentative at this time.
