FC07 update
Jul. 25th, 2006 08:45 pmHave decided to write off
ionotter as far as FC07 goes. Check his LJ for details. I think
technocollie might end up cancelling too, though that part is too hard to say/too early to tell. If that does happen, my plan B is to cancel the room reservation completely and find crash space elsewhere.... or not even go if I'm unable to find crash space.
Otherwise, I'm likely to blow my entire travel budget for 2007 on FC.... all of it on the hotel room, airfare and rental car for the trip. (And FWIW, I'm budgeting around $3K total for FC07... same as last year.) And no, I don't plan on traveling anywhere afterward.
Tomorrow I take a PT test. I haven't had problems hitting the maximum for my age group in pushups and crunches... but the 1.5-mile run is where I can really use some improvement. I've averaged around 14 minutes... which is REALLY slow for a 1.5 mile run. I'd like to get it down to 12 or 13 minutes, but I think that might be wishful thinking. :P
We'll see how it turns out...
