Good news, bad news

On the good news side, it looks like Lani is getting better.  The other night I took off her collar and she immediately started playing with it.  She was also playful last night after I got home.... the first time I've seen her in a really playful mood.  Until then she was mostly affectionate but not very playful.

On the bad news side, my cough is still pretty bad, mostly when I lie down.  Then it becomes a hacking, nagging cough.  If I'm sitting or standing it isn't quite as bad, but the cough has pretty much kept me from getting a lot of really good sleep.. partly because the cough keeps me awake or it wakes me up.  I'm planning to go to sick call tomorrow if the cough keeps me from having a good night's rest tonight... especially since now it's been about a week since I first started coughing.  Though I do NOT plan to stay home if I can help it; I have at least one project that I'm working on that requires that I be there to see it through and/or get updates at least until I go on leave.

About 9 days from leaving for FC06 (and counting).....
