Mar. 5th, 2005 01:49 amFor those who may not have noticed, I changed my LJ icon a few days ago. It's now of my primary online character, though I don't visit the MUCKs as much as I used to.

technocollie was discharged from the hospital yesterday (Friday) and is recuperating at home. He seems okay, though he had some rather bizarre horror stories.... seems as though he ended up on the floor with the patients that have mental issues as well as physical ones because they couldn't find any other beds for him, not even in ICU. As a result, for all 3 nights he spent in the hospital he told me he hardly had any real sleep.
I got him a couple of plushies Thursday... both of huskies, one that barks when you squeeze it. Apparently he enjoyed those.
I'm pondering taking some leave in about a month or so, after my stuff arrives and I'm done backfilling the Army weather support piece. Not sure what I'm gonna do with the leave though... a couple of viable options include a trip up to Vancouver or possibly Wisconsin. Not sure if I want to fly into Wisconsin though.... heard WAY too many horror stories about corrupt TSA personnel at Madison and Milwaukee confiscating stuff for no apparent reason.
