Saw "Team America" today. It's a pretty f**cked up movie, to say the least. To say the most, well, it's almost like Meet The Feebles meets South Park.

If your ears are sensitive to profanity or sexual scenes (including a scene where naked marionettes have sex), I'd recommend you not see the movie. Otherwise, it's pretty much brain candy.

One thing I've kinda discovered about my free time: I have some, but it's very limited... mostly to late-night movies, if anything. But I've pretty much blocked the daytime, especially from 1100 to 2000 (11 am to 8 pm) -- visiting hours -- out for visiting my mom at the hospital. That isn't negotiable because it's a family obligation.

That said, there haven't been any changes to my mom's condition over the past couple of days. The good news is that she isn't getting any worse, but the bad news is that she isn't getting any better either.

Got back from visiting my mom in the hospital a couple of hours ago. Her condition hasn't changed much -- for better or for worse -- but it's taken a toll on me, for the most part.

The biggest impact is, of course, on my social life, which is for the most part nonexistent. That's because I've been spending most of my time at the hospital. But to be honest, I have it really easy compared to my mom as well as to my brother and sister. My mom's at the hospital 24/7 since she's an inpatient, while my brother and sister both have families to take care of as well as visit. Me? Let's see... I'm single and on emergency leave, meaning I have NO schedule. That means that since I can, I should spend as much of my time as I can with my mom.

A couple of entries ago I posted that I would much rather deal with the frustration and loneliness about not being with friends than guilt or regrets about not spending time with my mom. Let me amend that slightly: I would much rather deal with the frustration and loneliness about not being with friends than have to answer -- to my brother, my sister, or myself -- why I didn't spend as much time with my mom as I could have.

Okay, now THIS is a movie I'm definitely interested in seeing (when it comes out):

I think I suffered what was probably the ultimate torture last night when I saw a trailer for "Spongebob Squarepants: The Movie". Shoot me now! Please!!!
