More on Boys' Day

The caption isn't included, but here's what it was:

The koi were flapping in the breeze yesterday — including four of the carp banners on a pole in front of the Tenrikyo Hawaii Dendocho on Pali Highway — in celebration of the Japanese tradition of Boys Day. Girls Day is observed on March 3; Boys Day, May 5. But in Japan, Boys Day also coincides with an official holiday known as Children's Day.
