Only got time for a very quick post before I zonk out for a katnap...

Been checking out the SCAM-O-RAMA website (http://www.scamorama.com), which I think I originally discovered when going through the snopes website. It's kind of a way of seeing folks get revenge on the Nigeria (419) scammers... many of the accounts detail e-mail exchanges where the "victim" strings the scammer for several e-mails trying to "help". In one case, a "victim" managed to actually get something like $4 from the scammer!

Needless to say, the site provides some very amusing (and involved) reading.

On a different note, I was listening to part of Coast to Coast AM, and plan to get back to listening to it as soon as I'm done getting ready for bed (right after I post this). Guess who's on tonight? The (in-)famous Kevin Mitnick, who's apparently working on a new book (I recently bought one of his books on what social engineers could do to bypass all kinds of security defenses), and also founded his own computer security firm (Defensive Thinking, I think it's called). Then again, rather ironically, who best to get to work in computer security than someone who's been on the other (read: hacker) side? He/she would know what to look for...

I say that tongue-in-cheek though, because I'm by no means an expert on computer security...

Oh, and something I was working on yesterday and today: revised FC04 pix. The other site I mentioned is still up, but I've uploaded another (beta test version of) FC04 pix site. This one's http://www.pumadyne.com/FC04.html. The difference is VERY subtle... the original version ended in an ".htm" extension while this one ends in a ".html" extension.

Check it out... comments are welcome back to me (wxkat@despammed.com).

That's all for now... time to get some sleep!
