(Disclaimer: I don't advocate or discourage the therapies mentioned... it was just the first site that came up when I did a websearch for "ki".)
First off, I think I may have caught some kind of cold. Nothing debilitating yet, but it's still no fun when you know you've got what might be the beginnings of a cold. Bleah...
Also visited my parents tonight (I usually try to drop by the house at least once a week). Not sure what might be affecting my dad, though I think it may be a form of Alzheimer's. He's been having sporadic moments of lucidity but other times he'll regress to, say, 15 or 25 years ago, before he retired.
Mom took him in for a brain scan today... won't know the results until tomorrow at the earliest. Meanwhile, I can only hope his condition doesn't deteriorate further. I admit I've been very lucky so far to have my parents still around, since they're both in their 70s.
Ironically enough I'd been thinking about adding another entry to my journal tonight... but I didn't think it would be something like this. I think the song is pretty fitting though....
